Mixed media, paintings and framed pieces on display for the Addison Art Shows.
Joseph E. Mills has been producing original art work for most of his life, but it is only recently that he has been creating art for sale. His work reflects the abstract modernist sensibility he has been attracted to all his life. He has been inspired by a plethora of artists from different places and times in history. No one, however, holds a more significant place in his pantheon of artists and poets than his late twin brother John Mills. Joe has been a high school English teacher and, for the greatest part of his career, a clinical professor of Internal Medicine. He is also a poet, the father of Jess, the loving husband of artist and writer Fran Hillyer, and the true pal of their dog, Goldie.
