  1. Shake your hips and move your feet Friday night, as Tiffany Cassius y Dos Hombres perform from 8-11 p.m. at Mercy Wine Bar. This fun music is a blend of flamenco, pop, rock and light jazz. Saturday from 8-11 p.m., the David Gallegos Band performs. These lively musicians play traditional flamenco rhythms and serene New Age melodies for a Latin-inspired ambient noise.  Finally, spend your Sunday evening with local artist Jack Mason, performing from 7-9 p.m. This talented guitarist and vocalist plays electric guitar and sings a blend of everything including blues, country, rock, pop and Latin music. http://mercywinebar.com/events.

6. Dark Phoenix, the much-anticipated sequel to 2016’s X’Men: Apocalypse is coming to AMC Village on the Parkway 9 and LOOK Cinemas this weekend! The movie is about iconic character Jean Grey (played by Sophie Turner), and her transformation into Dark Phoenix after she is hit by a cosmic force in space during a life-threatening rescue mission. As she becomes increasingly powerful, she is battling internal demons and spiraling out of control. Support the community while eating breakfast at the Pancake Fundraiser!

Fluffy, buttery pancakes drenched in syrup – yum! – can be yours this Saturday when you attend the Pancake Fundraiser from 8-11 a.m. at Fire Station #1, located at 4798 Airport Parkway in Addison. The Addison Rotary and Addison Midday Rotary Clubs are sponsoring this event, with all net proceeds benefiting Kids n Cops and Santa’s Heroes, community events hosted annually by the Addison Fire and Police Departments. For just $10 for adults and $5 for kids under 10, you can eat all the pancakes you want, chat with friends and neighbors, and learn about some amazing events that help kids.
