Addison – The Magazine of the North Dallas Corridor has some exciting new changes. “After review and much consideration, we are encouraged by the emerging media trends and strategies of reduced print frequency and increased digital and editorial content, and will be streamlining to this format,” Publisher/Editor-In-Chief, Rodney Hand said. “With this change, we have moved to a semi-annual publishing schedule featuring a Spring/Summer Issue (April – September) and a Fall/Winter Issue (October – March).”
Now more than ever, the luxury print product now titled, ADDISON, The Guide, will have a more concentrated distribution focus throughout the community including dining, shopping, entertainment venues, hotel rooms, luxury apartments, real estate/relocation centers, in top executive office buildings, and medical offices, and the digital products (Digital Issue, Website and E-News Weekly) will continue to effectively reach those who live, work and play and also travel throughout the area.
Hand says both print and digital platforms will continue with their award-winning editorial, photography and design readers have come to expect from the publisher. “We are confident that this is a great opportunity for ADDISON, The Guide, to continue to serve our loyal readers and promote local businesses utilizing our beneficial print + digital platforms throughout the year for a reduced cost,” Advertising Director, Sharla Holleman said. With this new rebranding, their goal is to continue to be an industry leader in delivering hyper local information, entertainment and unique experiences through a variety of mediums and channels utilizing the latest (proven) technology and platforms. “While the print publication will have a new name to reflect its focus as the guide for the area, the E-News Weekly and website will also be a hyper local source for events, arts and entertainment, local food as well as a what to do this week guide,” Hand said.
ADDISON, The Guide, is part of the Addison North Dallas Corridor Media Group started by Hand 20-years ago and boasts a portal style website with thousands of unique visitors and over six million impressions annually. The publication is also distributed via digital edition to roughly 20,000 email subscribers and is actively involved in many related events in the area.
