Fall Happy Hours In The Corridor

Fall is in full swing and with it comes the end of daylight saving time and the start of cooler temperatures. It also means that Christmas is just around the corner. Cue the stress and anxiety of shopping for everyone on your list! Shopping for other people can be quite stressful. So how do we break out of that environment of stress as we shop for others? One way to decompress is to hit some of the local happy hour spots with friends and relieve some of that with some food and drinks. And since we live in North Texas where we can experience all four seasons in one day, these happy hour spots fit perfectly with the fall season.

Let’s start with Lazy Dog in the Village on the Parkway. They have a fantastic patio and are dog-friendly! Happy hour is Monday to Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. and Sunday to Thursday from 9 p.m. to close. Enjoy $3 to $8 drinks like their Lunazul Reposado Margarita, Sailor Jerry Rum + Coke or grab a pitcher of sangria for the table. They also have Happy Hour Portion dishes like the Cajun Fries + Chipotle Ranch, Buffalo Chicken Lollipops and of course, chicken wings. Because, what would Happy Hour be without chicken wings? Visit their website for the complete menu.

When the weather is not wanting to cooperate, Gloria’s Latin Cuisine has you covered. Literally. They have a fully heated covered patio area with large screen TVs and very tasty beverages. Their happy hour includes $6 house margaritas, house mojito, sangria, and wine. They also have a fresh guava margarita that is a must. Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays are ‘All Day Happy Hour.’ Thursdays are from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

For authentic, legit, the real deal sushi you go to Mr. Sushi on Belt Line. But did you know that their happy hour specials are just as good as their food? Mr. Sushi’s happy hour is Everyday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. to close. Enjoy $2 Sake, $2.50 domestic beer, $3 house wine $3, #3.75 well and $2 Edamame. Visit their website for more information as well as the full menu.
