Are you looking for a well-respected organization to volunteer at where you can help make a difference of the lives of people in need in your community? If so, you can come to a one-hour tour/orientation where you will learn about Metrocrest Services’ role in providing financial education and aid to seniors and families as well as the role of supporters in meeting the needs of local people. Open to both groups and individuals, this orientation will take volunteers on a tour of the agency and the 1,200 square foot pantry.

Metrocrest Services is an organization whose focus is assisting senior adults, individuals, and families who are dealing and coping with crisis situations, require support to live independently, or need help stabilizing their lives. Committed to building a stronger community together, the agency services include providing employment counseling and bus vouchers and/or gas cards for job seekers, home-delivered meals transportation, and minor home repairs for seniors, and basic services such as financial budgeting assistance and food and rent and utility bill aid for families and individuals. Throughout the year, they also have seasonal distributions giving out school supplies and shoes to students, November and December holiday programs, and Sack Summer Hunger food for youngsters.
