What to do

When you think of Jordan, the phrase “destination vacation,” may not be the first thing that pops in your head, but we’re here to let you know that Jordan is much more than what you think! To start off, you’re definitely going to have to try a hot air balloon ride that takes you 6,000 feet high up in the Jordan skies overlooking the natural dunes and rock formations. When you come back down, you will want to check out some of the ancient ruins and towns of Jordan. Some of these places include Aqaba, Jerash and Petra. And to end your day, take a ride on the back of a camel and enjoy the sun setting on the desert horizons.

What to eat

The food will find in Jordan is heavily influenced by North Africa, the Middle East, Persia and the Mediterranean. Some common dishes you will find around town are falafel, ful medames, ara’yes, and manakish which is Arabic pizza. Of course, these are just a few of the dishes you’ll find here in Jordan. Just take a stroll around town and try something new!

Where to stay

There are plenty of hotels to stay at in Jordan all along the coastline. If you’re looking for something for more adventurous, try staying with one of the locals or camp out at the Wadi Rum.
