To say Jim Conrow is passionate about commercial real estate is an understatement. As the president of Corridor-based Conrow Company, Conrow works every day to oversee his company’s property management, development, financial services, tenant representation, land/site selections, brokerage and investments in Texas. He brings his more than 30 years experience in commercial real estate to the job, inspiring his employees to do their best every day.

Conrow graduated with a bachelor’s degree in math from Benedictine College. He received his Texas Real Estate Broker License in 1979, the same year he founded Conrow Company. “This career offers an opportunity to be creative and solve complex problems that often arise,” said Conrow. “For example, there are often numerous parties being represented by various professionals in one real estate transaction. It may include numerous principals that all have their brokerage team, lawyers, engineers, bankers, architects and city officials. Fortunately, most often they all have a positive attitude and are easy to work with.”
In the commercial real estate business, Conrow is known as a leader with a strong sense of values, marketing know-how and a high-volume track record. This includes his largest land sale deal of $8 million, and his largest tenant representation office deal for 105,000 square feet. Some of his past and present affiliations include the NTCAR, Texas Association of Realtors, Board of Realtors, ULI, Merchants Association, National Association of Realtors and the Addison Business Association among others.
He also gives back to the community. He has served on the board of the Metrocrest Medical Foundation, served on the board of trustees for Ursuline Academy, and helped fundraise for Bryans House, Ryan Foundation, Crystal Charity, Diabetes Association, Jesuit, Ursuline, St. Jude, DREM and more.
It’s also important to Conrow that his employees have great customer service. He wants each employee to “be someone that can be counted on as reliable and effectively communicate complex topics and have a positive and inclusive nature.” In addition to hiring talented candidates, Conrow also takes the time to do a little mentoring as well.
“I have always enjoyed mentoring others,” explained Conrow, when asked about the best part of his job. “It is rewarding to see them be successful. On the transaction side, it is rewarding when all parties involved feel like they got a fair deal.”
Currently, some of the most popular services Conrow Company offers include tenant representation and property management, according to Conrow. “Vice President of Conrow Company Tanya Holland brings a legal background to help with tenant representation, and Executive Vice President of Conrow Property Management Barbara Gentry-Schantz has many years experience in property management,” added Conrow.
Future plans for Conrow Company include growing on the investment side, as Conrow mentioned, “We have a reputation of finding good deals and passing them on to our clients.”
