One of the fun things about being a foodie for me is when I get to make some of my favorite dishes at home. While we enjoy going out to eat, (and with over 180 restaurants in Addison you can dine at a different place for practically six months and not repeat a place) learning how to make our favorite restaurant dishes to make at home is always fun. If you are like me, RA Sushi Bar & Restaurant is inviting guests in for a delicious interactive class coming up in a few days.
RA Sushi Bar & Restaurant in the Village at the Parkway is turning 21 this month, and to celebrate this important birthday, they will be hosting a Sushi & Sake 101 class Sunday, Oct. 21 at 7 p.m. During the class, guests will learn some of the fun traditions around sake as well as the perfect way to roll sushi. According to the announcement by RA Sushi Bar & Restaurant, “In addition to making and eating the featured Spiked Sake Roll (a sake infused sushi roll) alongside the restaurant sushi chef, guests will enjoy creating other menu items including a Philadelphia Roll and Salmon Nigiri. Fresh edamame and miso soup will be served as will sake flights featuring Sho Ciku Bai, Miso Sparkling Sake, and Red Flower Sake.”
The class lasts for an hour and costs $45 per person. If you want to register, make sure to sign up as soon as you can as available spaces are filling up quickly.
Visit the restaurant’s website for more information and to make your reservation. Make sure to follow them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to stay up to date on all the latest promotions and events happening at the restaurant.
Happy 21st RA Sushi! Here’s to many more!
