Sci-Tech Discovery Center will put on the inaugural Meeting of the Minds event on Friday, September 21, 2018. This speaker series will feature leading thinkers who embody Sci-Tech’s brand of mind-stretching fun. Proceeds from Meeting of the Minds will expand access to STEM education for under-served youth in North Texas. This event will feature Gretchen Rubin, a thought-provoking observer of human nature and happiness. The author of a few New York Times bestsellers such as The Four Tendencies, Better Than Before, and The Happiness Project. The books have also been translated into more than 30 languages and have sold almost 3 million copies worldwide. She also has an award-winning, top-ranking podcast, titled “Happier with Gretchen Rubin” where she discusses good habits and happiness with her sister, Elizabeth Craft.
The Meeting of the Minds Luncheon featuring Gretchen Rubin benefiting Sci-Tech Discovery Center will be held from 11:30 A.M. – 1 P.M. at Renaissance Dallas at Plano Legacy West Hotel. Sponsorship begins at $2,500 and tickets are $125 per person. They can be purchased at MindStretchingFun.org.
