National Caipirinha Day at Texas de Brazil

Sept. 13 is National Caipirinha Day. A day to celebrate the national drink of Brazil and what better place to celebrate than at Texas de Brazil in Addison? The Brazilian churrascaria will be offering $5 Caipirinhas all night long Thursday, Sept. 13. Make it a fun night out with friends and enjoy a delicious dining experience.

Caipirinhas are a favored cocktail in Brazil as well as throughout the South American culture. The recipes for this cocktail begin with cachaça, a Brazilian spirit made by distilling fermented sugarcane juice. With the simple combination of just three ingredients: cachaça, lime, and sugar, this tangy drink pairs nicely with Texas de Brazil’s savory churrasco grilled meats and items from their abundant 50-plus item salad area. At Texas de Brazil, guests can enjoy the traditional lime Caipirinha or choose from other different flavors including coconut, mango, strawberry and more. Enjoy the rodizio-style dining experience that has made Texas de Brazil famous. The gaucho servers visit your table with skewers of freshly grilled meats that are carved directly onto your plate. Choose from their signature Picanha, lamb, Brazilian sausage, pork or chicken all of which are cooked over a wood charcoal fire.

Of course, if you don’t want to dive into their full dining experience, sit at the bar and enjoy something lighter from the bar menu as you sample the different Caipirinha’s flavors. The bar menu includes combinations of chicken breast, garlic sirloin, filet with bacon and seasoned sausage. Or try something a little different like their housemade lobster bisque. You can also share an antipasto platter of imported cheeses, charcuterie, olives and cornichons with friends and simply hang out and enjoy the evening.

For reservations as well as more information about their menu, visit their website. As always, please enjoy responsibly and get home safely.
