Stay cool and lift your spirits by seeing a comedy show at the Addison Improv! Brendan Schaub will be performing August 9-11. This podcaster, comedian, actor, commentator, former professional football player and retired mixed martial artist co-hosts “The Fighter and the Kid,” a weekly podcast with another comedian Bryan Called, and hosts the podcast “Big Brown Breakdown.” Schaub has also performed at several comedy clubs, including The Comedy Store, Hollywood Improv and The Laugh Factory, as well as guest hosted several Fox Sports Talk Shows. Fans of sports or laughing will have a great time!

Stop by during the public skating hours, which are Monday from 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and 8-10 p.m., Tuesday from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. and 8-10 p.m., Wednesday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and 8-10 p.m., Thursday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and 7:15-10 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m.-11 p.m., Saturday from noon-11 p.m. and Sunday from noon – 6 p.m. This is a romantic way to spend an evening with your date, hold hands, and cool off!
Picnic in the Park
Sometimes, you just have to embrace the heat. Go on a classic summer night date by having a picnic in the park! There are many parks in Addison, but Quorum Park is one of the most popular. Located at 16201 Quorum Drive, Quorum Park is very shaded and has a beautiful display fountain that lights up at night, and a romantic lighted walking trail. Eat a home cooked dinner on a blanket, then walk under the stars as a perfect way to end a summer evening!
