Vacation During Your Lunch at Nate’s

Fried Cod with Butterflied Shrimp available now at Nate’s Seafood and Steakhouse

For the past 30 years, Nate’s Seafood and Steakhouse has been serving delicious seafood, steak, crawfish and live music. For those of us who grew up near the beach, finding a place that serves fresh seafood and has that laidback atmosphere is like finding a hidden treasure. That’s Nate’s, and right now, Nate’s Seafood and Steakhouse is featuring some new lunch dishes that will take your taste buds on a mini vacation while you dine. Who wouldn’t like to escape the grind of the workday if just for a few minutes?

Let’s start with the Fried Cod dish. An 8oz of fried cod with butterflied fried shrimp and topped with a creole butter sauce. You can upgrade your side to the jambalaya for just a little more as well. The Grilled Red Snapper at Nate’s is a genuine steal. Get it with grilled vegetables and of course their amazing hushpuppies!

There’s also the Speckled Trout, Salmon, Black Drum and the Walleye Pike (when available. All of these dishes range from $11.99 to $14.99 making them one of the best lunch deals around.

But Nate’s not just about amazing seafood and steaks. They also have great live music. This month Joe D’Angelo & The Hornets will be performing Thursday, June 21, and the East Dallas Loe Bros. on Thursday, June 28. There’s also their Sunday Night Blues Jam every Sunday afternoon from 6:30 to 11:30 p.m. with Jackie Don Loe. Finally, make plans for Wednesday, July 4, and the Kaboom Town Boogie from 6:30 to 10 p.m.

Food, music, friendly people, and a laidback atmosphere, what else can you ask for? As Nate’s son Jonathan told me, “We continually offer quality fish at a great price to the Addison lunch crowd because we understand eating out can be a part of the day to day business, so we strive to make it affordable!”
