Ben Caballero

Addison-resident Ben Caballero was recently named the number one real estate agent in the world by Guinness World Records! He received this prestigious accomplishment by selling 3,556 verified homes in 2016, and he became the first real estate agent ever to be recognized by Guinness World Records.

“Being named a Guinness World Record holder is truly the highlight of my professional career, said Caballero in a recent press release. “It’s incredible that, until now, no real estate agent has ever been recognized for setting a world record for home sales. I am honored.”

He was recognized at the REAL Trends Gathering of Eagles conference in Denver on May 16. According to the Real Trends research, the number of homes Caballero sold was seven times more homes than his closet competitor (467 homes). To put his yearly sales numbers in perspective, Caballero sold an average of more than 68 homes per week and nearly 10 homes a day in 2016. His home sales that year also totaled a new individual real estate agent sales record of $1.444 billion. He is also the first and only real estate agent in the U.S. to exceed the $1 billion mark for residential sales transaction volume in a single year, which he did in 2015 and 2016.

“For years, our rankings have recognized the accomplishments of thousands of real estate professionals, but no one came close to achieving what Ben has,” said Steve Murray, president of Real Trends, in the press release. “Recognizing Ben’s achievements by Guinness World Records is truly amazing.”
