Warm Weather Trends

Warm weather fashion ideas.

With sweat pooling under our arms, face, back and other places, dressing fashionably is usually the last thing on our minds. But don’t ditch your signature, on-trend look for workout shorts and a tank top yet (unless you’re hitting the gym of course!), because there are many stylish, clothes and shoes available at stores in the North Dallas Corridor that will keep you cool all summer long! Below you’ll find a few of our favorites warm weather trends.

Layers are too hot for summer; instead, rompers are cool, breezy and much prettier than the classic T-shirt-and-short-combo. This Alice + Olivia romper from Neiman Marcus is a fun pink, yellow and green floral pattern, with thin spaghetti straps and off-the-shoulder feminine ruffles. Oh go for this flirty yellow romper, featuring a big bow in the front and a cut out to show off your midriff.

White Clothes

There’s a reason we wear white in the summer — it’s much cooler than darker colors! For a casual look, we love this all-white knit dress from Francesca’s, which features a tie around the front, a v-neck and soft fabric.  To transition for work to drinks, go with this sweet white tank top with ruffles from Nordstrom, which can be worn with a jacket in the office and solo on a warm night out.

Finally, pack away your closed-toe shoes and pumps for the season, and opt for something that lets in more airflow. For slip on sandals, the fewer straps the better. These one-strap blue-and-white gingham sandals from Francesca’s are cute, comfortable and (most importantly) cool. The trends works in a more professional setting as well — just slip on these miranda cork Jimmy Choo sandals from Neiman Marcus that has one strap over your toes and one strap over your ankle for a pretty, neutral look that is just right for the summer.
