Mother’s Day in the Corridor

Mother’s Day

Cancel your lounging around, lazy Sunday plans — this Sunday is Mother’s Day! The gift your mom really wants is you to spend time with her, so make it fun and take her to one of the many entertaining venues available in the North Dallas Corridor. There’s a lot going on this Sunday, so pick your favorite —or take mom to all four! —and she’ll have the best Mother’s Day ever.

Bowlmor Dallas

Let out some energy at Bowlmor Dallas, where you and your mom can bowl, eat dinner and drink cocktails all in the same place! Visit after 6 p.m. to take advantage of Sunday Funday, which includes games and shoes for $3.09 and $3 drink specials.

Mother’s Day LOL at Addison Improv

Give your mom the gift of laughter by taking her to Addison Improv’s Mother’s Day LOL Sunday Funday Comedy Show at 7 p.m. May 13. This stand-up comedy show will feature some of the funniest local female performers, whose jokes are made even funnier while sipping champagne or other drinks available on the menu! Tickets are available online for $12.

Movies at AMC Village on the Parkway 9 or LOOK Cinemas Prestonwood

Spend a chill Mother’s Day with your mom by taking her to see a movie at AMC Village on the Parkway 9 or LOOK Cinemas Prestonwood. She’ll love the hilarious Life of the Party, starring Melissa McCarthy, which features housewife Deanna, who goes back to college after her husband dumps her; or the scary Breaking In, about a mother and her kids staying in a vacation home when four men break in — both of which are premiering this weekend. The full list of shows and ticket prices are available online.

Pinot’s Palette Addison

Show off your creative side by taking your mom to Pinot’s Palette Addison this Sunday from 3-5 p.m.! You’ll have a blast enjoying complimentary bites and mimosas for Mother’s Day, while painting a beautiful floral painting with the words “Always My Mother Forever My Friend.” Register online for the event, which is $45 per person.
