At the end of a long week of work we all want to unwind, relax and have a good time, right? I think that’s a safe bet. As guys, we want to kick back and hang out with friends, maybe catch a game on the tube and put down some wings and enjoy a frosty cold drink. Nothing wrong with that. We work hard. Some weeks are rough and we need that time away from work to recharge our batteries and release whatever negative energy we may be carrying. So, I’m here to give you some suggestions as you look forward to the weekend, or even a weeknight out with the boys.
Grab some wings and catch a game. With college basketball winding up and the NBA season about to head into the playoffs, it’s a great time to catch a game with the guys and enjoy some wings. Buffalo Wild Wings and Pluckers Wing Bar provide the perfect atmosphere for watching sports. Lots of TVs everywhere so you never miss a second of action and plenty of seating for you and your buddies.
What about happy hour? Addison and the Corridor have the best happy hour establishments around. Houlihan’s on Belt Line just east of the North Dallas Tollway includes a $5 menu featuring a full-size burger called The Big Cheese, Thai Wings plus any cocktail on their menu and any big craft beer on draft! Not a bad way to end the workday huh? Of course, Chuy’s Happy Hour Fully-Loaded Nacho Car needs to be on this list! We can’t forget about Sherlock’s Baker St. Pub and their everyday happy hour from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Saturday and all day Sunday!
If you’re looking for laughs, the Improv in Addison is the place to see the funniest comedians touring the country. With world-renowned comedians like Pablo Francisco, Bobby Lee, Margaret Cho and Aries Spears to name a few; you will laugh till it hurts.
How do you and your buddies kick back? What does a guy’s night out look like?
