Texas de Brazil Hosts Churrasco and Bourbon Dinner

Special four-bourbon, three-course dining event at Texas de Brazil in Addison

On Nov. 14, Texas de Brazil will be hosting a special event featuring Kentucky bourbon. This special four-bourbon, three-course dining event will pair Jim Beam and other whiskey brands with Texas de Brazil’s menu. Dinner will start at 6:30 p.m. and the cost is $95 per person, inclusive. Leonardo Pierret, corporate executive chef for the family-owned Brazilian-American steakhouse brand said in a press release, “Bourbon and churrasco are a delicious pairing, with the smoky flavors of bourbon marrying exceptionally well with our savory grilled meats.” He also added, “The rich tasting notes in these spirits also uniquely balance the fresh flavors of our salad area offerings and complement our desserts.”
This is a great opportunity to learn about the different pairings available at Texas de Brazil as well as experience the delicious meats which are prepared in authentic Brazilian churrasco style.
Guests at the event will be welcomed with a Maker’s Mark Mango Mint Julep before moving on to the salad area featuring over 50 freshly-prepared salads, soups and side dishes to be paired with the Basil Hayden served neat. The main course includes rodizio-style service of freshly-grilled cuts of meats served tableside from skewers by costumed gauchos and paired with Knob Creek served neat. For dessert, guests will enjoy the Jim Beam Vanilla paired with a slice of pecan pie a la mode.
At Texas de Brazil, the premium meats are prepared over an open flame using natural wood charcoal. The churrasco-style grilled meats include lamb chops, leg of lamb, picanha, filet mignon, chicken breast wrapped in bacon, Brazilian sausages and much more.
