Where do you go when looking for the delicious tastes of the sea? If you are like the majority of Addison Magazine’s readers, Nate’s Seafood and Steakhouse is probably the first place on your list. Recently, Nate’s won Favorite Seafood Restaurant in our 2017 Readers’ Choice Awards! We talked to Jonathan Peck, manager at Nate’s, to find out more about this outstanding restaurant.

“It truly is an honor to receive an Addison Magazine 2017 Readers’ Choice Award,” said Peck. “We have worked very hard perfecting our menu over the past year, and we are glad our customers like it!”

Nate’s is a family-owned and operated restaurant that opened in 1988. The restaurant serves Gulf seafood, crawfish, steaks and live blues music – all with good service and care. “All our items are old family recipes cooked from scratch and made to order with all American products,” said Peck.

The menu includes crawfish, shrimp, crabs, shellfish, gumbo, Cajun surf and turf, ribeye steak, po-boys, fried alligator, Bayou potatoes and so much more. For dessert, you will enjoy the bread pudding, chocolate cake, key lime pie, New York style cheesecake.

Addison is the perfect location for Nate’s, because people in Town are serious foodies! “Addison is the heart of DFW’s restaurant community,” added Peck. “The Town of Addison is an excellent business partner for the independent, small business like us.”

One of the best times to visit Nate’s would be during Live Music Thursday at 6:30 p.m., where live blues music has been played every Thursday night for more than 20 years. Sunday Night Blues Jam is also a great time – from 6:30 to 11:30 p.m. every Sunday night, live blues music featuring Jackie Don Loe is played. Any musician can come to play in the blues jam if they bring their own instrument. And of course, Happy Hour at Nate’s is the perfect time to meet other people, relax, and have a few drinks without breaking the bank. Every Monday through Wednesday from 3 to 7 p.m., Thursday from 3 to 6 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 4 pm.

If you are looking to have a fun night out with your family, where delectable seafood and a lively atmosphere come together, go no further than Nate’s Seafood and Steakhouse. See for yourself why Nate’s is a readers’ favorite!
