Mark your calendar and purchase your tickets quickly for an evening of fine wine, mouthwatering chocolates and the amazing food of Texas de Brazil Steakhouse. Wednesday, October 18 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Texas de Brazil on Belt Line and Addison road the Fladgate Partnership is coming together with local chocolatiers for an evening of tasting and sampling different wines and chocolates in an effort raise money for the American Red Cross. The evening will start off with the Port of Manhattan Martini and signature Texas de Brazil appetizers followed by special pairings of the Taylor Fladgate family and chocolates by Chocolate Secrets.

As it is their custom, Texas de Brazil frequently partners with different vendors to bring special events to their restaurants and expose their guests to new and different flavors, dishes and drinks. This tasting is being put together by port and chocolate representatives, and it will be not only an entertaining evening but also a delicious one. The evening will feature Croft Reserve Tawny Port, Fonseca BIN 27 Reserve Ruby Port, Taylor Fladgate Late Bottled Vintage Ruby Port and Taylor Fladgate 20-Year-Old Tawny Port.

For those not familiar with Port Wine, Croft Port’s website describes it as, “Port is one of the world’s great classic wines and no meal, formal or informal, is complete without it. Like any great wine producing region Port is the result of a unique combination of climate, soil and grape which generations of human skill and dedication has allowed to express itself as great wine. Like other classic wines its appeal is timeless, as relevant today as it was over three hundred years ago when the first Croft Ports were made.”

Texas de Brazil will be donating $40 for each ticket sold to the American Red Cross for Hurricane Relief Efforts. Tickets for this event are selling quickly and space is limited; guests must be 21 or older to attend. Although regular dinner is not included with your ticket, guests who wish to stay after the event for dinner (and you should, their dinner menu is simply superb), will receive a special discount of 25 percent off the regular dinner price.
