When the sun goes down, the food will come out and the feast will begin!

Seeing him like that – laying on a bed of leaves, apple in his mouth, legs tied up and pink bottom in the air – is a little creepy the first time. But after tasting the delicious roasted meat, you will be counting down the days until your next pig roast! If you aren’t a vegetarian and you love good smoky pork, come out to Ida Claire’s annual Tiki Party and Pig Roast on September 21 at 7 p.m.!

This island-themed tiki party will feature a four-course meal with passed appetizers and tiki cocktails. It’s a perfect excuse to wear your favorite summer shorts and dresses for the last time before fall arrives.

The mingling cocktail hour and appetizers begins at 7 p.m., when guests will be welcomed with a complimentary Kakamora cocktail upon arrival. When the sun goes down, the food will come out and the feast will begin! Suckling pig will be served family-style, in addition to island-inspired side dishes. Dinner guests can also take advantage of the $5 tropical handcrafted cocktails served throughout the evening.

While you’re eating, you can also enjoy the sounds of The Tiki Torches band, who will be playing soothing music to make you feel like you are really relaxing in a tropical paradise.

Hawaiian shirts and grass skirts are highly recommended (and a great way to show off that lingering summer tan!) Tickets to the event are $75 per person, and space is limited. Make your reservations today by calling the restaurant or emailing Ida.Events@fbrest.com.
