The sun is out; the temperature is rising; and summer is officially in full swing. With the new season’s harmful rays, you may be looking for ways to alleviate some of that heat from your hair. No heat hairstyles are a great way to try out a new look while also protecting your locks from the high temperature tools we use daily to ensure everything is in place. Before grabbing your hair dryer or curling iron, try out these fun summer no heat hairdos.
An easy way to add some texture to your hair is to throw a few braids into your look. Whether you want to go with the boxer braid look or want to braid your bangs back into a low ponytail, these small additions are great for freshening up your look. Plus, they help keep your strays out of your face so you will be ready to take on anything the summer throws at you.
For a quick updo that will help you get out of the door faster, try out some new bun looks. You can top everything on the top of your head for a fast top knot or you can create a looser look at the nape of your neck. Either way, these are great options for adding a finishing touch to your ensemble.
Waves on Waves
You do not need to damage your hair to get beachy waves. If you still want to rock the curls this summer but do not want to mess with the heat, you can create no heat waves in several different ways. Either you can grab a few bobby pins to create pin curls or you can wrap your hair around a thick headband before heading to bed to wake up with an elegant head of locks.
