Special Mother’s Day Dining Choices

Explore the corridor’s dinning options this Mother’s Day.

What a beautiful sentiment from arguably one of the best songwriters of all time, and it is with those beautiful words that we approach Mother’s Day. For her special day this year, may we suggest trying something different? Like authentic Japanese BBQ or all the meat you can eat served by authentic Gauchos? Here are a few places to check out and make this Mother’s Day special.


Table 13

Table 13 will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Mother’s Day this year and guests can enjoy a special Mothers’ Day menu as well as a special performance by Scott Bucklin. Bucklin will be performing live from noon to 3 p.m. and again from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The special Mother’s Day menu includes your choice of appetizers like their delicious Bacon-Wrapped Dates or Lump Crab Cakes. For her entrée, mom can choose from the Double Bone Hand Cut Pork Chop, Prime Ribeye, Filet Mignon, Lemon Caper Chicken, Salmon Meuniere, or Sea Bass as well as sides and one of Table 13’s amazing desserts. Children 10 and under may choose from a special children’s Menu and Reservations are strongly encouraged and can be made at Table13’s website.


Texas de Brazil

For a true gaucho dining experience, Texas de Brazil has you covered. Serving their regular dinner menu like Filet Mignon, Brazilian Picanha, Brazilian Sausage and Flank Steak to name just a few; Texas de Brazil makes it very simple to please all the meat eaters in your party. Don’t forget about the dessert menu as well their fine selection of wines. Reservations are strongly recommended and you can make them by visiting their website.


India Haat

If you are looking to try something new and packed with flavor, try India Haat’s special lunch/brunch. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Mother’s Day, they will be serving a special brunch buffet. According to India Haat’s website, they will be “Featuring longest spread of dishes in the buffet with SPECIAL desserts, & more! $18 for Adults & $11 for Children between age group 4 to 10.” Reservations are recommended, so make sure you get yours in soon.



Gyu-Kaku brings the authentic Japanese Yakiniku dining experience to Addison where you and mom can share premium cooked meats over a flaming charcoal grill while sipping on Japanese Sake, Shochu, and frosty cold beers. They offer a wide range of meats including like their Harami Skirt Steak in Miso marinade and the certified Angus Kalbi Short Rib in Tare Soy marinade. Kenny’s Wood Fired Grill

Kenny’s Sunday brunch menu is always a winner. Kenny’s Spin on Benedict, the chicken, and waffles or the Bacon & Egg Burger are mouthwatering and simply delicious.
