St. Patrick’s Day at The Londoner
The British are coming! The British are coming! Except for this time, they are coming to rock your face off with British rock! They will arrive Friday, March 17, at 9 p.m. at The Londoner in Addison to be exact. Come celebrate St. Patrick’s day at the Londoner this year and party with “The British are coming.” The Londoner will have a special St. Patrick’s day menu for the evening which will include green beer (a must at any St. Patrick’s day party), Jello shots, Guinness Stew and Corned-beef n potato pie as well as their regular menu dishes.
The British Are Coming are one of the best British Rock tribute groups in the area and they will be performing at The Londoner’s St. Patrick’s day party, which starts at 9 p.m. They are the alter-ego of Phil Pritchett and his band and they play shows all over the country. According to his website, Phil “Since 1995 P2 has been releasing independent albums and crisscrossing the country with his livewire shows and fun, intelligent songs.” Some of the songs in their repertoire include: Tired Of Waiting (Kinks), Stoned Me (Van Morrison), Rocket Man (Elton John), Wild World (Cat Stevens), Love Me Do (Beatles), London Calling (Clash), Ruby Tuesday (Rolling Stones), I Saw Her Standing There (Beatles), I Can’t Get No Satisfaction (Rolling Stones) and Should I Stay Or Should I Go? (The Clash) just to name a few.
This is going to be an epic night full of great music, food and friends so make sure to get there early. For more information on the night as well as all the upcoming events and soccer matches at The Londoner, visit their website and follow them on Facebook; for more information on The British Are Coming, check out their website.
