First Wednesday Coffee with the Mayor

Wake up with coffee and talking with the mayor

The Town of Addison offers its residents small town charm from the comfort of our big Lone Star city. Here we value our neighbors and nearby local businesses and soak up the sun in our quaint city circle. But it’s what the town strives to give back that makes all the difference in the world – one example, is First Wednesday Coffee with the Mayor.

While Addison is a close-knit community, it’s still unrealistic to assume we know all our surrounding neighbors, but the First Wednesday Coffee with the Mayor makes this feel attainable. It’s an opportunity to mix and mingle while discussing some of our hometown’s finest aspects, and provides residents with the chance to voice concerns or inquire about the latest happenings.

On the town’s website, the event inspires the community to “come join our informal discussion and Q&A session about all the great things going on in Addison with the Mayor.” If you’re unable to attend, don’t worry, this is a monthly event – March’s upcoming “coffee date” happens to take place on Wednesday, the 1st, from 10 AM to 11:30 AM.

So, where are we all meeting up with the Mayor? At Dunn Brothers Coffee, located along Belt Line Road. If you’ve never attended, you’ll find this is a wonderful way to familiarize yourself with upcoming projects – for example, Dallas Midtown – discuss upcoming events, or just sit back, relax and enjoy a great cup of joe in a warm, welcoming environment.

Now that you’re truly excited, we encourage you to give your Keurig or coffee pot a break, and visit Dunn Brothers this coming week. Don’t wait any longer, mark your calendars, and prepare to rise and shine with the rest of the community, and, of course, the mayor – and remember, the coffee is on him!
