i06a4735The only thing better than hot and spicy Indian food on a cold winter’s night is hot and spicy Indian food that you can get from a drive thru and eat in the comfort of your own home. India Haat offers the opportunity to enjoy a lively night out or a quick bite from the first ever Indian food drive thru in the United States, every day until midnight.

Located at 4145 Belt Line Road in Addison, India Haat is a traditional Indian cuisine restaurant with authentic food from diverse culinary regions of India. According to its website, “Haat” means “a marketplace” which is based on the “Dilli Haat” concept in Delhi that has a food plaza and craft bazaar showcasing diverse India culture. This restaurant is like a food market that offers many different delicious foods, specialty cocktails and live entertainment.
“Addison is the hub of restaurant businesses and we wanted to be there,” said Gaurav Mishra, owner of India Haat. “I also wanted a place with a full open kitchen and active nightlife, as this is part of our concept, and I could find that in Addison.”
Go inside for the lunch buffet that offers Indian street food and cuisine from North and South India (open from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. on weekdays, and noon to 3 p.m. on weekends); go for dinner and order from full service fine dining dinner menu (open daily from 5 p.m. to midnight); or go through the drive thru (open 11 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. to midnight) to order Kathi rolls, raps and Biriyanis.
The lunch buffet offers different specials every day, so you can keep coming back and trying new things! Some favorite dishes include goat curry, chicken tikka masala, paneer dishes, poori, shrimp tandoori and chola datura. For a more exciting lunch, sit at the Chef Table, where you can enjoy custom cooking and be served directly from the chef!
“We have specials like Saag Gosht (goat cooked in Spinach curry), Changezi Kebab (chicken leg marinated in our special spice and cooked in our clay oven), and tandoori shrimp (shrimp marinated with ginger, spices and garlic and cooked in our clay oven),” explained Mishra. “And, everybody loves our chicken tikka masala! We also serve a selection of Indian desserts in our dessert platter on the map of Dallas.”

On the weekends, India Haat transforms into a party place. There are live music events, Bollywood dance parties and more every Saturday night.
Spice up your dinner plans (and you nightlife) by checking out India Haat this weekend! It has the perfect mix of delicious food and fun atmosphere that everyone can’t help but enjoy.
