When great women come together, great things can happen. When top female executives come together, amazing things can happen. Right now, we are only a couple weeks away from one of the most anticipated networking events of the year — the 2016 Top Female Executive Awards Luncheon! Attending this luncheon gives you the opportunity to be in the midst of women who are doing incredible things in local businesses. This year, the luncheon will be held on March 2 from 11:30am to 1pm at Bent Tree Country Club.

Now is your chance to join us as we honor our distinguished nominees and announce the winner, first runner-up and second runner-up for the 2016 Top Female Executive Awards.

Emmy award-winning radio broadcaster Kate Delaney is our featured speaker this year. Delaney is one of the first women ever to host a solo sports radio talk show in a top 10 market — WFAN in New York City and KRLD in Dallas. Talking sports comes easy for Delaney, who currently hosts a nationally syndicated weekend show on the NBC Sports Radio Network. She has broadcast from unique places all over the world, including Ireland, Ecuador and Hawaii, and the show has been at some major events such as Super Bowls, MLB All Star Games and U.S. Opens to the New Hampshire Primary in 2012 as well as the Republican and Democratic conventions.

Delaney is a woman with many interests who is not just contained to the world of sports. In the past, she ran The Golden Broadcasters radio network as the Chief Operating Officer. As a businesswoman, she has negotiated contracts for millions of dollars with show hosts, advertisers and network personnel. She has also helped develop strategic plans for the independent radio network. During her free time, Delaney travels across the U.S. and has spoken at associations, conferences, meetings, colleges, professional and non-professional sports teams and companies. She has worked with the Las Vegas Thunder, Golden State Warriors, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Radio Shack, McDonald’s and Southern Methodist University among many other organizations.

After twenty years of National Broadcast experience, Delaney loves sharing the experiences she has had with interviewing more than 12,000 people during her career. If you want to learn even more about Delaney, you are in luck because a copy of her latest book is included with every purchase to the Luncheon. Her book, Invade the Man Cave: The Sports Secrets Guys Don’t Share is full of little known sports facts that Delaney has learned over the years. For example, did you know that a young girl bouncing a super ball gave her father the idea for the biggest game in the National Football League, the Super Bowl? If you are baseball, golf, horse racing or sports fan, or if you just want to impress people with your sports knowledge at your next cocktail party, then Invade the Man Cave is exactly what you need to read.

The 2016 Top Female Executive Awards Luncheon is sponsored by Frost Banking Investments Insurance, Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa, Grand Spa, Clive and Co. Hairdressing, Beauty Brands, Solis Mammography, Luxx Lash Salon Boutique, Vision Veritas Eyecare Eyewear and The Maxcel Company.
