As many of you know, Blue Mesa Addison recently relocated across the street from its original spot in Village on the Parkway and opened its brand new doors last month. Now, the popular establishment is getting ready to celebrate its 25th year in Addison with a killer bash.
Don’t miss your chance to savor free food, soak up live music and splurge on tasty drinks from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. tomorrow, August 21, at the new location.
Founders Jim and Liz Baron say the upcoming fete will celebrate both the move and the company as a whole.
“When we moved from Village on the Parkway to this new location, it coincidentally was our 25th anniversary,” Jim says. “But [the original location] was also our first Blue Mesa, so essentially we’re celebrating the new restaurant, 25 years in Addison and 25 years as a company.”
To commemorate this milestone, Blue Mesa Addison will be decked out with four or five food stations, a cash bar featuring different tequila distilleries and live salsa and merengue band Tony Borras Y Org. Candela.
Expect free steak or chicken skewers, a street tacos bar, fresh guacamole and salads, Southwestern favorites, Hatch chile rellenos, a dessert station including mini flans and much more.
Operation Kindness, one of the beneficiaries of “Tacos for a Cause,” will also join the party with animals up for adoption.
Now situated in Prestonwood Pond II, Blue Mesa Addison is a freestanding, Santa Fe-style building with some contemporary cool features.
A patio with fire pit seating, a conference room and a private party room are all available at the new restaurant.
“We’re very excited about the way [the new restaurant] came out. We feel like we’ve got another 25 years in us,” Jim says. “We’d love for people to come in and see what we’re doing, and more than anything just to have a good time.”
The fun starts at 4 p.m. and is open to the public. No reservations are required so grab your friends and we’ll see you there!
