Three Travel Destinations You Need to Visit in Ireland
For some of the most stunning natural attractions and rich culture in Europe, many people venture over to Ireland during the spring to learn more about the beautiful country. Whether you are looking to see the country’s Catholic landscapes or are wanting to see where the famous Guinness got its origin, there is something for everyone on this dynamic island. Here are three travel destinations you need to visit when you find yourself in Ireland.
Cliffs of Moher
One of the most beautiful parts of Ireland’s coastline includes the Cliffs of Moher. The area’s picturesque cliffs stretch for nearly five miles over the Atlantic Ocean. You can casually stroll around the area and take in the sublime sight while feeling the crisp ocean mist. Once you look out, you can look at the beautiful Aran Islands. You will want to remember your camera when you go so you can capture the scene.
After walking around the bustling city of Dublin, you will want to make your way to the Guinness Storehouse to see how the famous Irish beer is made. You can walk through the store’s seven floors to learn all about the beer and then receive a complimentary pint once you make it to the top. Plus, you will be sipping your Guinness while looking over the entire city of Dublin, so you can enjoy all of the best parts of the area.
St. Patrick’s Cathedral
One of the biggest tourist attractions in Ireland is the country’s largest church, St. Patrick’s Cathedral. The building was constructed in 1191 to honor the famous local favorite saint’s visit to the area. While many people come to see the amazing architecture and stained glass work, the cathedral still does hold service every day. So make sure you time your visit based on your expectations of the visit.
